Award-winning PMG shipyard Thailand boat building business was first established in 2004 and specializes in the construction of monohull boats and luxury catamarans, both sail and power, ranging from 41 ft to 120 ft LOA.
PMG Shipyard has direct sea access via its own launching ramp, which has a maximum weight of 160 tons. Eight production halls, four of which are 50 x 12 meters in size with a ceiling height of 12 meters, a test pool, a travel lift, and a launch vehicle. In addition, it has offices, a dedicated CNC room, and separate workshops for carpentry, steelwork, and upholstery. The shipyard has a total area of approx. 20,800 m2 overall, with the capacity to accommodate several large catamarans in production simultaneously.
In 2013, PMG proudly manufactured the Heliotrope 65, the first luxury solar-assisted catamaran in the world, and has continued to expand to fulfil the ever-growing demand for e-powered and solar-assisted luxury yachts on a production, custom, and refit basis. Its highly regarded and specialist workforce has built several solar-powered vessels for leading European, American, and New Zealand yacht brands. In addition, it builds sailing yachts and diesel-powered vessels for both commercial and military applications. It is licensed to build under the Thailand Government's Board of Investment (BOI) duty and tax-exempt conditions.
